Art Shows and Gatherings

It floors me that we created beings are endowed with the ability to, in-turn, create and I am amazed when I think about how art can inspire, transform, comfort or even convict. I find that often I am driven to get an idea out of my head and into something tangible. My hope is that perhaps it will then inspire, comfort or mess with your spirit somehow.
I prefer to personally present my art to small gatherings where I can tell the story of how it was formed and was spiritually trans formative for me. I can express what was significant and important to me in my journey of creating it. What is really cool though is when the conversation begins to include how the piece speaks to others. This often ignites conversations that explore divine inspiration, creative genius and how the Spirit of God moves among and within us.

I entered a piece into the Nevada County Fair this year for kicks and giggles. Displays will be up the duration of the fair, Aug. 10th – 14th, 2011.
